We have found out more and more people are unjustly suffering from joint stiffness, weakness and pain because they were told:

  • To just" accept it" because it is apart of your "age" or gender
  • Or maybe that you are "too young for a replacement or surgery...yet" and you just have to "wait" for it to get bad enough to do something and to just stop doing "certain things"
  • To just take pills and "rest for 6-8 weeks" to "see how it goes"
  • To just get an injection every couple of months & to give up being as active as you want
  • That their MRI or x-rays show it's an "alignment issue" or "arthritis" and that there is "nothing to be done"
  • You have to stop being "so active" and you'll just have to "give up those activities"

However, joint stiffness and  pain, posture and bone health is more complicated than that........the process of really finding all the contributing causes & actually fixing all the problems that have developed takes respect and an expert in the body and movement to really identify the solutions and plan that needs to be implemented for the real outcome you want.

We understand that it can be overwhelming to know and make the BEST decision for your health. Your time, money, health and future is at stake. There also are so many different options and advice out there like:

  • Trying stretches & exercises from "experts" on YouTube
  • Relying on your fitness instructor or friend to show you "some exercises" that they were given once or heard could work
  • Using new topical creams or essential oils someone recommended
  • Trying a brace or strap for support or "relief"
  • Taking painkillers or anti-inflammatories your doctor prescribed
  • Going to see a certain massage therapist, chiropractor or acupuncturist
  • Just "giving up" the activities you love

With all those choices it can be stressful to make the best decision for your health. Maybe you've tried some of the options above and were let down by false promises and only temporary relief and without anything really being "fixed."

All to often I listen to clients tell me how they were let down with other healthcare professionals that  just treated the "symptom", didn't consider all the problems, limitations they had or help them get back to doing the things that really matter to them, just used all these gadgets or machines that never seemed to work or told how they would help get to the "root cause" of the problem. Or that they weren't direct and honest in really telling them what they were at risk for if they didn't address the issues when they should of and paid for it tenfold later.

When it comes to something as important as your bone health choosing the right specialist to help you and not waiting for the problem to get worse is critical to AVOID being forced into an invasive risky surgery that could have been avoided.

Fortunately and unfortunately everything in the body is connected. Simply just relying on images and scans or just looking at a single body part is not (good) enough. Often times scans, of the spine and hip, are only a piece of the puzzle and do not represent everything that is contributing to your current situation.

  • Current or Past Injures and the related complications, period of immobilization, changes in activity, strength, mobility and stability of the muscles and joints
  • Weak muscles, ligaments and supportive structures that cannot support and stabilize your joints to allow you maintain good posture and move freely without compressing and over stressing your nerves, joints and muscles
  • Weak muscles that cannot support your body and create an unstable foundation from you to move, limit you endurance and ability to complete sustained movements or tasks
